Rajkumar, a young student of class VIII in the school, is always in immense terror when he faces his elder sister Kalpana in the evening. He does not know that she is an expert at picking up obscene words from him by merely looking at his face. She would even question him on what he had learnt during the day. She says "Swear-word Rajkumar" with a smirk after noticing her elder brother speaking in Kannada without any hesitation with his friends nearby who are also proficient with Kannada language. Also published on Medium. com The story of two siblings, Kalpana and Rajkumar, who are very competitive – one is a woman and the other a young boy. Though they appear to be entirely different from each other, both of them have a strong obsession for swearing at any given time. This book is a humorous account of observance of family life by two siblings with their own unique idea on bad language. In days gone by, people used to use many kinds of curse words commonly known as three-letter words that are considered more vulgar than full sentences. Once you say one such word out loud, it is said that it will bring harm on your person or property. Mostly this is done for the purpose of entertainment and appreciation of the listener. These types of words, which were commonly used by people in villages, were taught to children as a fun activity. This book re-visits those days and talks about such curses through the eyes of two siblings who are good at using such words. The book is divided into 11 small stories. The first of them is how Kalpana makes her brother Rajkumar join the school. Another one talks about how she was teased by her friend for her pronunciation of English words. There are two characters in this book who always use foul language, dominate the story and get involved in swearing games with each other. A lot of swear-words are used in this book which will definitely amuse many readers if they are comfortable with using such words freely in their daily lives. Though there are many books on the same subject, this one is unique because it comes from a boy's point of view who uses these bad words even when he is speaking to his parents or teachers at school. The book has been published by Sage Publications in Kannada language. It was released on 17 January 2015 by award-winning writer Chikkamagaluru Govindaraj Ursa. It was also included in the book "10 Best books of 2015" publication. All India Radio's news bulletin has played a special role in the promotion of the book.https://www.facebook.com/rajkumarnathnava/posts/10153853205315459 http://www.mumbaimirror. cfa1e77820
